"Because your world is generally ignorant of origins, even of physical origins, it has appeared to be wise from time to time to provide instruction in cosmology. And always has this made trouble for the future. The laws of revelation hamper us greatly by their proscription of the impartation of unearned or premature knowledge. Any cosmology presented as a part of revealed religion is destined to be outgrown in a very short time. Accordingly, future students of such a revelation are tempted to discard any element of genuine religious truth it may contain because they discover errors on the face of the associated cosmologies therein presented."

Gobekli Tepe Drawing

A concept you've nurtured a lifetime can be shattered by the simple flicking of a blade through the soil. When the soil is located in a part of the world that holds title as the 'Cradle of Civilization', that simple flicking can hand their butts to the self-knowing academic crew.

In the words of Napoleon Bonaparte, "history is the version of past events that people have decided to agree upon."

I remember being told as a kid that the world was created in 4004 B.C. That worked until I learned dinosaurs went extinct 64 million years ago. Even to a kid the time disparity was obvious, but I liked my teeth just behind my lips and not down my throat, ergo, I wisely didn't point out the 64 million year discrepancy to the fundamental Christian members of the family.

Common sense tells us that our planet didn't pop into existence fully formed in 4004 B.C. and neither did man. I don't care what the Bible says. With every new archaeological discovery the dirt book is forcing us to be more respectful of mortal man's abilities and amazing intellect.

In 1994 an archaeological dig designated Gobekli Tepe began in northwestern Mesopotamia about 9 miles from the city of Sanliurfa, Southeastern Turkey. What makes Gobekli Tepe unique in its class is the date it was built, which is roughly 12,000 years ago, circa 10,000 B.C., 6,000 years older than Stonehenge.

Forty years before we discovered this mysterious site the history of humanity provided by the authors of The Urantia Book recounts that a genetically superior and well-developed herder-farmer civilization existed over 30,000 years ago in this area.

Some of the most impressive corroborations of Urantia Book history have been documented by UBtheNEWS and this report is no exception. The story of Adam and Eve in The Urantia Book is significantly different from the one found in the Old Testament and centers around a major genetic change that occurred 38,000 years ago.
